Priceless Casks of Alderaanian Brandy Lost in Transport Disappearance

As further developments on the mysterious disappearance of the heavy transport Twilight’s Reacher unfold, official sources have revealed that the vessel was hauling approximately 100 casks of Alderaanian Brandy, bound for storage and preservation at the Galactic Exotic and Rare Liquors Regional Repository on Denon. The intent of the shipment was to retain and control consumption in order to reserve remaining casks for Alderaanian refugees and their future descendants.

Twilight’s Reacher was expected to layover on Exodeen four days ago for its final leg of the journey to Denon, and never arrived. Imperial Navy and Sector Rangers search and rescue sweeps have yet to find any survivors and/or wreckage, and it is believed the transport may have suffered some sort of hyperspace calculation mishap. The Bureau of Ships and Services have updated their Lost/Missing Ships database and are seeking any information that may lead to the vessel’s recovery.

With median prices of the now-rare and dwindling spirits set at 700 credits per bottle, it is estimated the total loss reached a market value of 16.3 million credits. With this announcement, it is expected prices will skyrocket as collectors and caretakers of planetary heritage will no doubt tighten down on galaxywide distribution and sales.

Winne really.  I think we should be more concerned about art or relics.
